SAFT Academy is located in Les Fonts, Barcelona, Spain. High-performance football academy with UEFA PRO methodology, age-based programs and comprehensive player development.
JEP Sports Management announces the incorporation of SAFT Academy into its partner network as a strategic partner for football training, technical development and comprehensive player growth in Spain. Following the incorporation of PFC Pro Players as a performance partner in Costa del Sol, JEP Sports Management takes another step in building an international ecosystem of services for football players, academies and clubs.
SAFT Academy, with activity connected to Barcelona and Les Fonts, brings to JEP Sports Management's network a high-performance academy structure with UEFA PRO methodology, age-based programs and a focus on the technical, tactical, physical and mental development of young players. This collaboration connects SAFT's formative structure with JEP Sports Management's representation, evaluation, career guidance and international partner network.
An alliance to develop talent with structure and methodology
The collaboration between JEP Sports Management and SAFT Academy responds to a shared vision: player development requires structure, methodology and time. It is not about promising immediate results, but about providing an environment where each player can grow in an orderly manner, with professional monitoring and a plan adapted to their characteristics.
SAFT Academy is led by Marc Uceda, Director Técnico & CEO, a UEFA PRO licensed coach — the highest coaching qualification in European football — and a former professional footballer with experience at clubs in Italy, Germany and Spain. Marc Uceda is also a Director Deportivo certified by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and a specialist in sports psychology and youth talent development.
What SAFT Academy brings to JEP Sports Management's network
SAFT Academy adds to JEP Sports Management's partner network an academy structure with programs organized by age and level. Its track record, according to public information on its website, includes over 800 players formed, connections with over 40 professional and semi-professional teams, over 50 scholarships awarded and representation of over 10 countries.
These figures reflect SAFT Academy's activity and are presented responsibly, without implying that results are guaranteed for each player. Each case is evaluated individually and development depends on multiple factors: the player's level, commitment, sporting moment and suitability for the program.
The academy offers personalized individual and group training, video analysis, sports coaching, physical preparation and injury prevention and readaptation resources. Additionally, it offers residence and school options for international players who need a complete formative environment in Spain.
UEFA PRO methodology and comprehensive player development
SAFT Academy applies a methodology based on the UEFA PRO qualification, with reduced groups and personalized attention. The approach is not limited to the technical aspect: it integrates tactical development, specific physical preparation, mental work and formation in values and habits.
The methodology adapts to each age and level, seeking immediate transfer to the game and balanced development across all areas. The technical team maintains constant feedback with players and their families, providing progress reports and individualized development plans.
This approach is complemented by the work JEP Sports Management does in player evaluation, where each case is analyzed individually to determine the most appropriate plan, and in career guidance, where the footballer is accompanied in decision-making over the medium and long term.
Programs for different stages of the player
SAFT Academy structures its work in programs adapted to each stage of the footballer's development:
- Base categories: introduction to football through adapted games and exercises, development of basic motor skills and technical fundamentals.
- Junior programs: technical-tactical refinement, game comprehension and integral development with specific physical preparation.
- Superior or performance programs: high-performance competitive training and elite pre-professional formation with maximum competitive level.
- Specialized goalkeeper training: specialized development with position-specific methodology.
- Individual and group technical training: training sessions designed specifically for each player's needs, objectives and level.
- Video analysis: professional performance analysis with advanced technology and personalized reports.
- Physical preparation: specialized physical training for footballers, with injury prevention and specific conditioning.
- Sports coaching: psychological and motivational support to reach maximum potential.
- Injury readaptation and prevention: structured recovery processes and return to competitive rhythm.
Barcelona and Spain as a football growth environment
Spain is one of the world's leading football development environments. Its training methodology, competitive structure and sporting culture make it a natural destination for young players seeking serious, structured development. Barcelona, in particular, represents one of the richest football ecosystems in Europe, where youth development, professional football and international sporting culture converge.
SAFT Academy's location in this environment gives players access to a high-level formative context, with exposure to different playing styles, competitive levels and growth opportunities. For international players, this location also offers the possibility of combining with residence and school programs, facilitating a comprehensive formative experience.
How JEP Sports Management and SAFT Academy complement each other
The collaboration between JEP Sports Management and SAFT Academy is based on a clear division of complementary roles:
SAFT Academy provides the training and development environment: high-performance academy, UEFA PRO methodology, age-based programs, technical training, video analysis, physical preparation and sports coaching.
JEP Sports Management provides professional evaluation of each case, representation when appropriate, legal and visa guidance where applicable, career guidance and access to an international network of partners that includes PFC Pro Players in Costa del Sol.
This combination allows the player and their family to receive structured support at every stage: from formative collaboration with the academy, to the professional services of representation and career guidance when the moment requires it.
